We use PLS-CADD software to model all our power line designs, tailored to meet each client's specific needs and preferences.

Whether you prefer a three-phase, 25kV system with a flat crossarm design, or a more aesthetic line post type, we can customize the design to match your requirements.

While we typically cannot replicate exact local utility standards due to copyright and liability reasons, we can design using similar components to closely match the appearance and function. All designs are completed in accordance with the relevant CSA/IEEE standards.

Accurate Load Modeling

PLS-CADD allows us to import specific loading conditions to simulate a wide range of real-world scenarios—from severe weather events to heavy electrical loads. This ensures we design efficient and reliable systems without unnecessary overbuilding.

Pole Design with PLS-Pole

Using the PLS-Pole modules (wood, steel, fiber), we determine the minimum pole height and class required. This ensures we meet conductor clearance standards while using poles that are strong enough—but not overbuilt—for the job.

Engineering Expertise

Our engineering team ensures the correct conductor sizes are selected, taking into account future load growth and system availability. If protection coordination is needed, we’ll make sure it's properly designed and implemented.
